Friday, May 21st, 2010More Presents Of May
Wednesday, May 19th, 2010While driving along the local road today I saw one of my favourite trees (love it when in blossom and when bearing fruits) was covered with red dots!
I’ve been stuck in front of the computer for days and haven’t given myself a chance to notice those changes in the nature… Sad, yet familiar story, lately…
Anyway, I knew there would be some to buy farther down the road where locals usually sell produce from their gardens – a wonderful custom on this side of the Mediterranean. And, yes! There they were! Those juicy red dots, the cherries!
I love cherries and they are the best a bit later towards the Summer but even these were nice. They must be given a due respect since even without a lot of warm and sunny days they nourished us with their blessings. Much appreciated.

one of the joyful proofs of Divine love,
Ah, sweet, fragrant, delicious strawberries…

Monday, May 3rd, 2010A long walk by the sea brings more sense to life that sometimes tends to slip away why locked at the computer several days in a row.
Nature amazes me, it takes my breath away every time in a different way. I’ve been to many parts of the world and each time Nature is so divinely diverse and beautiful.
Is there any better proof of the Creator’s love than Nature we are blessed with on this lush planet? I guess the only thing changed in a place called paradise/heaven would be general human consciousness and behaviour, utmost acceptance and true realization of one’s free will that starts in one’s mind, in the thoughts that make the most gorgeous dreams come true. Then, I guess, there would be no concrete skyscrapers needed as a numbing hideaway.
I woke up before dawn, after only a few hours of sleep while I usually need a lot, a lot more, but this morning I was still filled with the scent of jasmine that followed us on that walk, my entire body still feels refreshed from the seaside wind, my soul so grateful…
He must have known what moments like those feel like:
…And streams unknown, hills yet unseen,
Whenever they invite Thee,
At parent Nature’s greateful call,
With gladness must requite Thee.
A gracious welcome shall be thine…
(William Wordsworth, From „Yarrow revisited“)
